Badstuber to join Manchester City on loan?

Badstuber

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is looking to find some quick fixes to solve his defensive crisis. The manager signed John Stones from Everton at the start of this season for a hefty sum.

But the young Centre Back couldn’t deliver for him and his other options too failed to give him hopes. With just three clean sheets in 20 games this season, City’s defensive numbers are pitiful.

In order to find some hope in the defense, Pep guardiola is trying to land Holger Badstuber from Bayern Munich. The German star is a very good option if he remains fit. In his three years at Bayern Munich, injuries never allowed him to stay longer in the game, but nevertheless, he gave decent performances whenever he was with the team.

With his contract nearing expiry, Pep is trying to bring the player on loan to the Etihad stadium. Talks are now on course to convince the player to join Manchester City till May.
If Badstuber performs better, Guardiola can sign the player on a permanent deal too.

A few reports states that Badstuber is hesitant to leave the highly successful Bayern Munich. If Pep can convince him, then the Citizens can hope for some better defensive numbers in the second half of the season.
